Synopsis

Closing your Eyes est un film documentaire sur trois villes palestiniennes en train de mourir, un film sur trois formes d’enfermement et d’étouffement : la révolte à Naplouse, la résignation à Hébron, la disparition à Qalqilya.

Closing your Eyes recueille des témoignages qui exhalent une tristesse sans fond, qui semblent perdus au milieu d’un isolement imposé. Surtout ne plus rien entendre, mettre en sommeil toutes les sensations. Ne plus éprouver la douleur, la peur, la violence. Ne plus écouter les tirs et les cris incessants.

Closing your Eyes, ou comment donner à voir et à entendre dans les rues de trois villes, entre l’obscurité et la lumière, entre l’intérieur et l’extérieur, entre la vie et la mort, entre le visible et l’invisible.
