Le CIRAM (Centre d'innovation et de recherche pour l'analyse et le marquage) est un laboratoire d'analyse scientifique pour l'art, basé à Pessac (33).
Il met en œuvre des techniques d'archéométrie dans le but d'authentifier les objets d'art et d'améliorer la compréhension des artefacts archéologiques.
Le CIRAM met en œuvre les techniques suivantes :
Chaque étude fait l'objet de dossier associant les résultats scientifiques bruts.
- Analyse et discussion des résultats,
- Étude comparative,
- Insertion des conclusions dans le contexte de la demande (authentification des objets d'art, recherche archéologique, étude préliminaire à une restauration, étude sur monument historique,…)
