Un homme dans la foule (A Face in the Crowd) est un film américain réalisé par Elia Kazan, sorti en 1957.
Synopsis
Pour alimenter une chronique radiophonique locale intitulée "Un homme dans la foule", la jeune Marcia Jeffries s'en va recueillir la parole de prisonniers incarcérés dans la geôle du shérif. L'un d'eux, Larry Rhodes, accepte de s'exprimer contre une remise de peine. Le personnage s'avère d'une éloquence et d'une finesse surprenante. Il se voit aussitôt proposer une émission quotidienne qui fait un tabac. Son talent charismatique l'emmène jusqu'à véritablement crouler sous les propositions d'embauches.
