Châtelaine est un magazine québécois fondé en 1960 et s'adressant à un public féminin.
Historique
C'est en 1960 que le magazine est fondé par Lloyd M. Hodgkinson, alors publié à Montréal par Maclean Hunter. Maclean Hunter fut achetée en 1994 par Rogers Communications, qui mit alors sur pied Rogers Media, entité dont Les Éditions Rogers font aujourd’hui partie.
Depuis la création de Châtelaine, sept rédactrices en chef ont dirigé le magazine dont Fernande Saint-Martin de 1960 à 1973, Francine Montpetit de 1973 à 1984, Martine Demange, de 1984 à 1989, Micheline Lachance de 1989 à 1994, Catherine Élie de 1994 à 2001 et Lise Ravary de 2001 à 2007. Lise Ravary, qui est aussi vice-présidente, directrice des rédactions, titres féminins et nouveaux produits, Édition grand public des Éditions Rogers, devient en mars 2007 directrice de la publication. En 2009, Marie-José Desmarais est nommée éditrice du magazine. Elle est depuis, secondée par Louise Gendron, rédactrice en chef, Reportages et Sophie Bandford, rédactrice en chef, Art de vivre.
