L’
Obradoiro de Compostelle est un exemple type du churrigueresque espagnol.
Le baroque churrigueresque est l'aspect que prend le baroque en Espagne au XVIIIe siècle et se caractérise par une abondance ornementale.
Il prend son nom de la famille des Churriguera, sculpteurs à Salamanque, mais on peut en trouver les premières traces dans l'œuvre d'Alonzo Cano, qui a dessiné la façade de la cathédrale de Grenade en 1667.
