Sir Chetpat Aiyar
Sir Chetpat Paatabhirama Ramaswami Aiyar est un avocat et un homme d'État indien (12 novembre 1879 – 26 septembre 1966) qui fut dewan (premier ministre) de l’État du Travancore (1936-48). Appelé au Barreau de Madras en 1903, il rejoignit le Congrès National, servit sur plusieurs comités consultatifs, devant avocat général du Congrès en 1920. En 1926 et 1927, il représenta l’Inde à la Société des Nations à Genève. Après l’indépendance qui fut acquise en 1947, il se retira de la vie publique. Il dirigea aussi la délégation des représentants universitaires indiens lors du voyage public en Chine en 1955.
