A&E Network est une chaîne de télévision par câble et par satellite américaine dont le siège se situe à New York. Spécialisée dans la diffusion de biographies, de documentaires et de séries dramatique, A&E est reçue en 2005 par 85 millions de foyers aux États-Unis.

Depuis 1996 A&E est, suite au rachat de Capital Cities/ABC par la Walt Disney Company, une coentreprise entre la Hearst Corporation (37.5%), ABC (37.5%) et NBC (25%)[1].

A&E est la chaîne phare du groupe de télévision A&E Television Networks qui édite aussi History Channel et Biography Channel.
