Challengers of the Unknown (Les Challengers de l'Inconnu) est une série de comics appartenant à l'univers DC Comics. Apparait pour la première fois dans Showcase #6 en février 1957 sous la plume de Jack Kirby & Dave Wood.
Vie éditoriale
Elle est initié par Jack Kirby et serait la source d'inspiration d'un autre travail, Les Quatre Fantastiques. Jeph Loeb et Tim Sale se feront connaître en 1991 à l'occasion de leur travail sur ces personnages.
Howard Chaykin reprendra plus tard le nom pour une mini-série.
Synopsis
Quatre aventuriers sont appelés par le gouvernement américain pour résoudre des énigmes étranges et surnaturelles.
