Province de Burgos
Burgos est une province située dans le nord de l'Espagne au nord-est de la communauté autonome de Castille-et-León. Elle est bordée par les provinces de Palencia, Cantabrie, Biscaye, Álava, La Rioja, Ségovie, Soria, et de Valladolid.
La capitale de la province est Burgos
La province a une surface de 14 300 km² et une population de 352 273 habitants (en 2002) dont la moitié vit dans la capitale. Les seules villes importantes en dehors de Burgos sont Miranda de Ebro et Aranda de Duero.
En plein centre de la province, à quelques kilomètres au nord de Burgos, se trouve le village natal du Cid.
Au nord de la province se trouve les Merindades véritable berceau de la Castille.
