3S Photonics
3S Photonics - ex-Alcatel Optronics et ex-filiale du groupe Avanex en France - est une entreprise française comptant parmi les leaders industriels mondiaux[1] des composants optoélectroniques pour les réseaux de télécommunications. 3S Photonics conçoit, développe, fabrique et commercialise des composants actifs à partir de ses propres puces optoélectroniques III-V et des composants passifs issus d'une technologie à base de réseaux de Bragg sur fibres optiques (FBG).
Son site historique de production implanté à Nozay (Essonne) constitue un pôle technologique et industriel unique au monde[2] en regroupant les technologies à base d’Arséniure de gallium (AsGa) et de Phosphure d'indium (InP) au sein d’une même entité.
Son portfolio est organisé autour de cinq lignes de produits :
- Lasers de transmission et détecteurs
- Lasers de pompage pour applications terrestres et sous-marines
- Modules de compensation de la dispersion chromatique
- Filtres, égalisateurs de gains et stabilisateurs de pompes, pour applications terrestres et sous-marines
- Puces (lasers et détecteurs) et services de fonderie
La société propose également des solutions dans les secteurs de la défense, du médical et du laser industriel. 3S Photonics est dirigée par Alexandre Krivine et Didier Sauvage. L'effectif est de plus de 160 personnes, dont 130 experts en photonique.
