Mer de Bohai
La mer de Bohai constitue un bras de la mer Jaune d'environ 823 000 km² baignant une partie de la côte septentrionale de la Chine. Elle est délimitée au Sud par la péninsule du Shandong et à l'est par celle du Liaodong qui la sépare du golfe de Corée. C'est la mer la plus proche de Pékin. On y a découvert du gaz et du pétrole.
Elle borde les provinces chinoises de Shandong, de Hebei, du Liaoning, et de la municipalité de Tianjin, ainsi que les ports de Yingkou et Tianjin. Elle reçoit les eaux du Huang He (fleuve Jaune).
Elle était appelée anciennement « golfe de Pé-Tché-Li » (pinyin Beizhili) .
