Blooddrunk est le sixième album de Children of Bodom sorti le 14 avril 2008 et signifie littéralement « ivre de sang ».
Toutes les chansons ont été composées et écrites par Alexi Laiho, à l'exception des paroles de LoBodomy écrite par Kimberly Goss.
Le 28 janvier 2008, Children of Bodom met en ligne une piste de leur nouvel album : "Banned From Heaven".
Le single éponyme à l'album sort le 27 février 2008, tandis que le single de "Hellhounds On My Trail" sortira en juin 2008.
L'album est généralement caractérisé par des riffs lourds, moins mélodique et plus technique que ses prédécesseurs, ce qui lui vaut d'être qualifié d'album de Thrash metal par beaucoup de fans.
