Blair Brown est une actrice américaine née le 23 avril 1947 à Washington.

Biographie

Blair Brown est une actrice Américaine née à Washington en 1947. Elle est principalement connue aux Etats-Unis pour son rôle principal dans le drama The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd durant les années 1987 à 1991.

Elle obtient son premier rôle en 1973 dans le film The Paper Chase, il s'agit d'une simple figuration, puis obtient enfin un rôle conséquent dans le film The Choirboys en 1977. Les années 80 et 90 seront pour elle l'occasion de participer à de nombreux téléfilms et séries télé notament The Rockford Files, Kojak, Frasier, Smallville, Touched by an Angel, Urgences,...

Blair Brown y enchaine les pièces de théâtre depuis 20 ans. Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, The Comedy of Errors, A Little Night Music ou bien encore The Threepenny Opera. L'actrice gagna un Tony Award en 2000 pour son rôle dans la pière Copenhagen. En 2007, elle apparaît dans la pièce A Feminine Ending in fall.

Depuis 2008 elle joue le rôle de Nina Sharp dans la série de J.J Abrams: Fringe.
