Trebor Healey est un poète et romancier américain. Il est né à San Francisco et élevé à Seattle. Il a étudié la littérature américaine à l'Université de Californie à Berkeley. Il habitait à San Francisco pendant qu'il était dans la vingtaine, où il participait dans le spoken word des années 80 et 90. Il a publié 5 livres de poche de poésie et d'autres poèmes et nouvelles dans plusieurs revues, journaux, anthologies et zines. Il habite actuellement à Los Angeles.

En 2004, Through It Came Bright Colors a gagné les prix Ferro-Grumley Fiction Award et le Violet Quill Award. Gay Today l'a nommé aussi un des dix meilleurs romans de 2003. La nouvelle "The Mercy Seat" a été nommé un des dix meilleures histoires de 2004 dans storySouth Million Writers Awards.
