Swithun (mort le 2 juillet 862) est un ecclésiastique anglo-saxon.

Il est élu évêque de Winchester le 30 octobre 852 et conserve ce titre jusqu'à sa mort. Un siècle plus tard, la cathédrale de Winchester lui est dédiée, et ses restes y sont transportés en 971. Sa tête est emportée à Cantorbéry par Alphège en 1006.

Révéré comme un saint, Swithun est fêté le 15 juillet. Un proverbe anglais dit que s'il pleut le jour de la Saint-Swithun, il pleuvra pendant les quarante jours qui suivent.
