Sue Miller, né le 29 novembre 1943 à Chicago, est une écrivaine américaine qui a écrit plusieurs romans devenus aujourd'hui des best-seller[1].
Biographie
Comme elle fut une mère célibataire pendant de nombreuses années, le temps manquait à Sue Miller pour pouvoir écrire. De ce fait, ce n'est qu'en 1986 qu'elle publie son premier roman, après avoir passé presque une décennie à travailler dans des associations et dans différents postes d'enseignement. Depuis lors, deux de ses romans ont été adaptés en longs métrages, et son livre While I Was Gone a été présenté à l'Oprah's Book Club en 2000. Sue Miller est maintenant professeure au Smith College de Northampton, dans le Massachusetts, où elle donne des cours d'écriture créative.
