Sōsuke Takaoka

Sōsuke Takaoka (高岡蒼甫, Takaoka Sōsuke?, anciennement 高岡蒼佑, né le 8 février, 1982) est un acteur japonais, qui vit actuellement à Tokyo. Takaoka a souvent abordé des rôles de soutien puissant, jouant en conflit les jeunes hommes en marge de la société. Cette hausse reflète les emblématiques rôles de son acteur fétiche, James Dean, avec qui il partage le même jour de naissance.

Il est surtout connu dans le monde occidental pour sa performance dans le très controversé film Battle Royale, dans lequel il a joué le pacifiste Hiroki Sugimura (Garçon #11).

Le 15 juin 2007, il épousa l'actrice japonaise Aoi Miyazaki, après sa rencontre pendant 7 ans.

En 2007, il obtient le rôle de Izaki Shun dans le film Crows Zero, et reprendra ce rôle dans sa suite, Crows Zero 2
