Simon Stephens né à Stockport en 1971 est un dramaturge britannique.
Biographie
Il a été auteur associé au Royal Court Theatre à Londres jusqu’en 2005. Il travaille avec le Royal National Theatre, le théâtre et la philharmonie d’Essen et le Tonneelgroep à Amsterdam.
Il a écrit des pièces radiophoniques pour la BBC et Radio 4 :
- Five letters home to Elisabeth (2001),
- Digging (2003).
Pour la télévision, il écrit une adaptation de Motortown (Fil Four) et une courte adaptation de Pornography (Channel 4, 2009).
