Poets of the Fall est un groupe de rock finlandais composé de Marko Saaresto (chant), Olli Tukiainen (première guitare) et Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen (claviers, production)[1]. Pendant les tournées, le groupe est accompagné de Jani Snellman (guitare basse), Jaska Mäkinen (guitare rhythmique, choeurs) et de Jari Salminen (batterie, percussions).
Le groupe a enregistré 6 albums à ce jour, et a enregistré deux chansons inédites sous le nom de Old Gods of Asgard pour le jeu Alan Wake.
