Oshun, Oxum (dans le candomblé brésilien), Ochun (dans la santeria) est l'orisha des eaux des rivières. Elle est la déesse de la beauté et elle a une forte liaison avec le monde spirituel. Elle est représentée par le jaune. Elle a pour attribut un miroir. Elle est l'une des épouses de Shangô.
Assimilations
Au Brésil, elle est assimilée dans la religion catholique à Nossa Senhora das Candeias à Bahia, et à Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres à Recife[1].
À Cuba en revanche, elle est assimilée à la Vierge de la Caridad del Cobre, la sainte patronne de Cuba.
