Fosse subglaciale de Bentley

80° S 115° W / -80, -115 La fosse subglaciale de Bentley est un vaste fosse océanique en Antarctique, à 80°S 115°W. À 2 555 mètres au-dessous du niveau de la mer, elle est le point le plus bas de la surface de la terre qui ne soit pas couvert par l'océan, bien qu'elle le soit par la glace.

Elle fut nommée en 1961 d'après Charles Bentley, le géophysicien responsable de l'expédition scientifique dans l'Antarctique en 1957-1958 qui a conduit à sa découverte.
