Beni Amir est une région située à 200 kilomètres de Casablanca.où se située la ville de Fkih Ben Salah, la principale activité de la région est l'agriculture.
La région de Beni Amir a une signification historique et stratégique, un élément remarqué par les premiers colons français, car la ville est située sur un itinéraire important. Le centre urbain régional est Fkir Ben Salah, où le bureau régional pour la promotion de l'agriculture est installé depuis les années 1940.
Les Beni Amir sont originaires de l'andalousie. Moulay Ismail les installa pour contrôler la route de Marrakech Fes.
