Künefe et verre de thé turc
Le künefe est un dessert turc apparenté au kenafeh proche-oriental et fait de fromage (dil peyniri) fondu entre deux couches de cheveux d'ange (tel kadayifi) revenus au beurre. L'ensemble est grillé au four des deux côtés et servi chaud dans un sirop, souvent saupoudré de pistache, de noix, voire de noix de coco ou de fruits séchés.
Assez consistant, ce dessert se savoure particulièrement bien avec un verre de thé turc.
