Jonathan Maberry, également connu sous le pseudonyme de Shane MacDougall[1], né le 18 mai 1958, est un écrivain américain plusieurs fois lauréat du Prix Bram Stoker et professeur d'écriture depuis 1978. Il a publié plus de mille cent articles, dix-sept livres généralistes et sept romans. Il est également nouvelliste, poète, parolier, scripte et créateur de pièce de théâtre.

Il s'est fait connaître en France en 2010, année de sa première parution française (Patient Zéro aux éditions Bragelonne).
