Batman : Année 1 (Batman: Year One) est une série de bande dessinée assimilable au genre comic écrit par Frank Miller et dessiné par David Mazzucchelli. C'est en partie ce comic qui a inspiré le film Batman Begins.

Bruce Wayne est devenu adulte et va devenir Batman dans un Gotham ravagé par le crime. Le comic le suit dans sa première année.Jim Gordon est toujours inspecteur et s'occupe de l'affaire Batman. Ce dernier le sauvera plus d'une fois...

Note

Cet album a d'abord été édité sous le titre Batman : Vengeance oblige. Il a depuis été édité chez Delcourt. Il a inspiré Batman Begins de Christopher Nolan mais il ne reprend pas grand chose du comic.

Suite

Une suite a été publiée quelques années plus tard sous le titre "Batman : Year Two".
