Le club est fondé en 1968 sous le nom de FK Uralets Ural'sk[1]. Il prend ensuite le nom de FK Uralets Oural en 1991, FK Uralets-Arma Oural en 1993, ''FK Zhangir Oural en 1995, FK Naryn Oural en 1998, FK Batys Oural en 1999 et FK Akzhayik Oural en 2004.
