Dhritarāshtra

Dans l'épopée hindoue la Mahābhārata, Dhritarāshtra était un roi aveugle, fils de Ambika et de Vyasa. Il eut avec sa femme Gāndhārī cent fils que l'on appelle les Kauravas. Duryodhana et Dushasana étaient ses deux premiers fils.
