ChildFund International est une association humanitaire américaine fondée le 6 octobre 1938 à Richmond (Virginie) par J. Calvitt Clarke[1], un pasteur protestant.
Appelée tout d'abord China’s Children Fund, elle a été créée initialement pour aider par le parrainage les enfants orphelins déplacés par la deuxième guerre sino-japonaise.
Puis elle a changé de nom le 6 février 1951 et s'est appelée Christian Children's Fund après avoir étendu ses activités au Liban, à la Syrie et à la Palestine.
Depuis le 1er juillet 2009, elle a pris le nom de ChildFund International.
Elle est membre fondateur de ChildFund Alliance depuis juin 2002.
