L’American Political Science Association est une association professionnelle de science politique aux États-Unis. Créée en 1903, elle publie trois revues académiques (American Political Science Review, Perspectives on Politics, and PS: Political Science & Politics). L'association est organisée en sections qui répondent chacune à une sous-problématique des sciences politiques (Public Administration, Political Psychology, etc), elle organise chaque année un congrès, qui a eu lieu en 2010 à Washington, DC. La prochaine édition se tiendra en septembre 2011 à San Francisco.
Elle est l'équivalent, aux États-Unis, de la Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques, même s'il reste difficile de comparer des institutions de taille et d'histoire très différentes.
