Alliance baptiste mondiale

L'Alliance baptiste mondiale ((en) : Baptist World Alliance (BWA)) est la principale organisation internationale d'Églises baptistes dans le monde.

Histoire

Elle fut fondée en 1905 à Londres, durant le premier congrès mondial baptiste. En 2004, la Southern Baptist Convention (Convention baptiste sudiste), première dénomination protestante aux États-Unis l'a quittée, car elle la trouvait trop libérale.
