07th Expansion est un cercle d'amateurs, spécialisé dans la création de Visual Novel de type Sound Novel. Le cercle a été fondé par Ryūkishi07 et son frère. Ils ont débuté en tant qu'illustrateurs pour le jeu de cartes Leaf Fight, mais ils sont surtout connus pour avoir fait la série de jeux When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni et Umineko no Naku Koro ni).
