West Finchley est une station du métro de Londres, qui se trouve au nord de la ville dans le Borough de Barnet. Elle est située sur la High Barnet Branch de la Northern Line entre Finchley Central et Woodside Park dans la zone 4.
Historique
La station a été ouverte par la London & North Eastern Railway le 1er mars 1933. Elle a été ouverte pour relier les nouveaux logements construits dans la zone. Au départ, la station faisait partie du réseau de High Barnet avant que cette dernière ne soit reliée à la Northern Line.
Informations locales
Située à la surface, la station est de fait accessible aux personnes handicapées. Située dans un quartier résidentiel plutôt riche, la station est peu fréquentée, les résidants utilisant plutôt leur voiture.
