Washtub bass

Le washtub bass, ou « gutbucket », est un instrument utilisé dans la musique folk américaine qui emploie un baquet de lavage en métal comme résonateur. Bien qu'il soit possible que le washtub puisse avoir quatre cordes ou plus, les washtub bass traditionnels ont une corde simple. Elle est actionnée par le joueur par poussée ou traction.
