Powhatan (chef amérindien)
Chef Powhatan (mort en 1618), dont le nom propre était Wahunsunacock ou Wahunsenacawh, était le chef de la tribu Powhatan.
Les Powhatan était une puissante tribu amérindienne parlant l'algonquin et vivant à l'époque sur ce qui est devenu la Virginie, aux États-Unis d'Amérique.
Il était le père de Pocahontas et de Nantaquas.
