Vaisali
Vaisali est une ancienne cité de l'Inde du royaune de Licchavi. Elle se trouvait à l'emplacement de l'actuelle Basarh dans l'État du Bihar.
Le Bouddha s'y rendit trois années après son éveil et y mit fin à une épidémie de peste.
C'est également dans cette ville qu'eut lieu le deuxième concile un siècle après le Parinirvāṇa du Bouddha.
