Toronto Rock and Roll Revival Festival
Le Toronto Rock And Roll Revival Festival est un festival de rock'n'roll revival, pour la paix, offert le 13 septembre 1969 au Varsity Stadium de l'Université de Toronto devant un public de 10 000 spectateurs.
Tous les plus grands représentants du rock'n'roll s'y produisent comme Bo Diddley Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, John Lennon, Yoko Ono et Gene Vincent ainsi que des groupes actuels comme The Doors, Alice Cooper et Chicago Transit Authority, Tony Joe White, Cat Mother & the All Night Newsboys, Junior Walker & the All Stars, Doug Kershaw, Screaming Lord Sutch, Nucleus, Milkwood, et Whiskey Howl.
Ce festival sera immortalisé par l'une des plus grandes figures du cinéma pop Don Alan Pennebaker et fera l'objet de plusieurs sorties de films, dont le plus connu est Sweet Toronto/Keep On Rockin avec la légendaire prestation de John Lennon et le Plastic Ono Band.
