Thomas « Tom » Boyd (né le 24 novembre 1965 à Glasgow) est un ancien footballeur écossais.

Défenseur polyvalent, Boyd a joué au Celtic Glasgow, Motherwell et Chelsea.

Il a porté 72 fois le maillot de l'équipe d'Écosse, disputant notamment la coupe du monde 1998. À cette occasion, il marque contre son camp lors du match d'ouverture contre le Brésil au Stade de France.

Pseudonyme

Le chanteur français Thomas Fersen emprunte le prénom de Thomas Boyd, qu'il remarque lors du mondial 1986. Côté patronyme, c'est le père de l'artiste qui lui propose de prendre celui de l'amant supposé de Marie-Antoinette, Axel de Fersen.
