Theodore Edward Hook, né le 5 janvier 1788 à Londres et mort le 24 août 1841 était un écrivain anglais. Il etudia a Harrow puis a Oxford. Son père était James Hook. Theodore Hook etait un fameux farceur, il est surtout connu pour le Berners Street Hoax. Il fut l'éditeur du journal John Bull.[1]
