The Vibrators (littéralement "les vibromasseurs") sont un groupe de punk rock anglais. Les deux leaders du groupe, Pat Collier et John Ellis ont joués précédemment dans Bazooka Joe. Leur premier concert a été encouragé par les Stranglers au Hornsey Art College au nord de Londres. Ils font partie des groupes qui participent au premier Punk Rock Festival qui a lieu en 1976 au 100 Club de Londres. Avec l'aide du guitar hero Chris Spedding ils enregistrent leurs premiers morceaux sur le label RAK Records. Leur premier single est "We Vibrate". Début 1977, ils jouent en première partie d' Iggy Pop lors de sa tournée en Grande-Bretagne. C'est alors qu'ils signent chez Epic Records et sortent le single "Baby Baby", extrait de leur album Pure Mania resté cinq semaines dans le UK Top 75.
