The Lotus Eaters (1982) est un groupe anglais de Liverpool constitué notamment de Jerry Kelly (Jem Kelly) à la guitare et de Peter Coyle au chant, ainsi que de Michael Dempsey (ex-The Cure). Séparé à partir de 1985, le groupe s'est reformé en 2001 pour publier l'album Silent Space, au son proche de certains titres de no sense of sin. Un nouvel album est prévu depuis 2008 mais sans date de sortie à ce jour. Le son du groupe peut être considéré de pop "ligne claire", très proche d'un autre groupe de Liverpool The Wild Swans.
