The Bar-Kays est un groupe américain de rhythm and blues, qui a publié ses albums sous la marque Stax Records. Il a notamment accompagné Otis Redding. Le groupe est connu pour le morceau Soul Finger édité en 1967. Les Bar-Kays ont presque disparu dans le crash de l'avion d'Otis, en 1967, où tous les membres périrent, sauf Ben Cauley qui fut sauvé et James Alexander qui n'était pas dans l'avion. Ben Cauley et James Alexander reformèrent par la suite les Bar-Kays avec de nouveaux musiciens.
En 2008 les Bar-Kays continuent à jouer du Rythm and Blues et à se produire en concert.
