Le TeleManagement Forum (ou TMF) est un organisme de normalisation spécialisé dans la gestion de réseaux informatiques/télécoms.
Historique
Le TMF[1] a été créé en 1988 sous le nom "OSI/Network Management Forum" par huit entreprises (Amdahl, AT&T, British Telecom (BT), Hewlett-Packard, Northern Telecom (Nortel), Telecom Canada, STC PLC, et Unisys). Cette organisation a été renommée en "TeleManagement Forum" en 1998.
Un premier ensemble de normes a été publié début 1990, basé sur le protocole CMIP.
La première version de la norme "Telecom Operations Map" (TOM, devenue eTOM cinq ans plus tard) est publiée en 1998.
La première version de la norme "New Generation Operational Support Systems" (NGOSS) est publiée en 2001.
A la fin 2011, l'organisation regroupait plus de 775 entreprises.
