Tasmaniac est un groupe de Rock français fondé en 1998 par Benoit Sibarita et Dens Toutikian. Le groupe prend une nouvelle tournure au passage du siècle avec l'arrivée de Guive Mastan à la guitare. Dernier changement de formation : les arrivées conjuguées de Jean Joly (batterie) et Laurent Pumpo (basse). Tasmaniac présente un rock engagé et énergique qui révèle toute son ampleur sur scène. Des compositions originales appuyées par des textes incisifs où se côtoient humour et désespoir apocalyptique.

Histoire du Groupe
Ils jouent leurs premiers concerts en région dauphinoise, s'offrant quelques tremplins rock. Puis un premier opus autoproduit voit le jour, suivi d'un six titres qui permettra d'affirmer leur présence sur la scène rhônalpine. Des premières parties de groupes d'envergure nationale (Silmarils, Marcel & son orchestre, Ska P, Aqme, Watcha, La Ruda...), et le son des Tasmaniac de voguer par delà la région. Concrétisation de ces efforts, le premier album "Rêve ou Réalité" voit le jour à l'automne 2004. Le staff technique constitué, les Tasmaniac enregistrent un second disque à l'automne 2006 pour une sortie et une tournée nationale prévue début 2007 (mais avec le rock, les prévisions à plusieurs mois sont bien aléatoires).
