Le Tanquetazo ou le Tancazo, a été une tentative de coup d'État effectué contre le gouvernement socialiste de l'Unidad Popular (Unité populaire) du président Salvador Allende, au Chili. Il a eu lieu le 29 juin 1973.
Le nom de Tanquetazo vient du fait que les rebelles ont massivement utilisés des tanks et autres véhicules de combats lourds. La résistance a été effectuée par des soldats fidèles du régime constitutionnel mené par le commandant en chef de l'Armée Carlos Prats.
