Table d'hôtes
Dans le cadre d’un accueil en chambre d'hôtes, il est parfois possible de partager le repas de la famille (généralement le soir). Une participation financière est demandée et il s'agit d'un prix tout inclus. Tous les convives mangent autour de la même table dans la cuisine ou la salle à manger familiale avec les propriétaires. C'est l'occasion de parler de la région, de la maison, de choses et d'autres... Ce repas pris en commun est réservé aux gens qui ont une chambre dans la maison d’hôtes. ll n'y a qu'un seul service et un seul menu, il ne s'agit pas d'un restaurant.
Restauration
Ce terme a été emprunté en anglais pour désigner un produit différent, le menu à prix fixe en restaurant. On l'utilise également en français québécois.
