Standard & Poor's
Standard & Poor's (S&P) est une filiale de McGraw-Hill qui publie des analyses financières sur des actions et des obligations. C'est une des trois principales sociétés de notation financière, avec ses concurrents Moody's et Fitch Ratings.
Elle est connue sur le marché américain pour son indice boursier S&P 500, pour son pendant australien, le S&P 200, ainsi que pour l'équivalent canadien, le S&P TSX.

- CC : Obligation très spéculative et très risquée
- C : Notation la plus basse - typiquement en cas de proche faillite
- NR : Non noté
Notation de dette à court terme
- A-1+, A-1 , A-2 : Meilleure qualité, faiblement spéculatif
- A-3 : Notation moyenne, spéculatif
- B : Spéculatif
- C : Faible qualité - hautement spéculatif
Publications
Standard & Poor's publie 48 fois l'an une lettre d'information hebdomadaire d'analyse du marché boursier. Intitulée The Outlook, littéralement « Perspectives », elle est disponible aux abonnés en édition papier et électronique.
