Le South China Morning Post (aka SCMP or 'the Post'), est un journal quotidien Hongkongais. Sa circulation s'élève à 104 000 copies. Il est publié par le SCMP Group.
Histoire
South China Morning Post Ltd fut fondée en 1903. La toute première édition est sortie le 6 novembre 1903. En novembre 1971, cette société s'est fait coté à la bourse de Hong Kong. Elle est devenue une société privée en 1987 par News Corporation, et a été cotée de nouveau en 1990.
Kerry Media, société holding de Robert Kuok rachète la participation de News Corp en octobre 1993. Kuok Khoon Ean, son fils, devint président de la société fin 1997.
