Sludgeworth est un groupe de punk rock de Chicago (Illinois), composé de Dan Vapid (chant), Adam White (guitare), Dave McClean (guitare), Mike Hootenstrat (basse), and Brian Vermin (batterie).
Histoire
Le groupe s'est formé en 1989 en tant que projet parallèle de Screeching Weasel, dont Vapid et Vermin étaient tous deux membres[1]. La même années ils décident d'abandonner Screeching Weasel pour se consacrer à Sludgeworth. Le groupe se sépara en 1992, peu de temps après le retour de Vapid dans Screeching Weasel.
En 1995, Lookout! Records a sorti l'album-compilation Losers of the Year[2]. Le groupe a annoncé qu'il s'est réuni à l'occasion de l'édition 2007 du Riot Fest[3].
