Sloth est un des personnages du manga Fullmetal alchemist.

Anime

C'est l'homonculus qu'Edward et Alphonse Elric ont créé en tentant de faire revivre leur mère grâce à la transmutation humaine. Elle ressemble donc de manière saisissante à Trisha Elric sans pour autant l'être. Elle intègre l'armée grâce à Wrath (alias King Bradley) - qui lui donne l'identité d'une femme dont les dossiers militaires ont été manipulés durant la guerre d'Ishbal : Juliette Douglas. C'est sous cette couverture qu'elle apparaît pour la première fois dans l'animé, promue en tant que secretaire du généralissime.

Son habileté propre à sa condition est le pouvoir de se liquéfier. Sloth est l'incarnation de la Paresse (un des sept péchés capitaux), d'où son nom anglophone.

On n'apprend que bien plus tard qu'elle est en fait l'homonculus crée par Ed et Al, elle mourra transmutée par Ed en éthanol, s'évaporant dans l'air ambiant.

Dans l'anime Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, qui reprend l'histoire originale du manga, Sloth est représenté par un géant très musclé que les frères Elric ont combattu dans le Nord avec le Général Olivia Armstrong, la sœur aînée du Commandant Armstrong.

Manga

Sloth est un homonculus possédant une imposante carrure et une musculature développée. Il apparaît pour la première fois dans le chapitre 31 du manga.
