Frank Iero

Frank Iero (de son nom complet Franklin Anthony Thomas Iero Junior) est né le 31 octobre 1981 et a grandi à Belleville, dans le New Jersey

Il est actuellement un des deux guitaristes de My Chemical Romance, avec Ray Toro. Il s'occupe également des choeurs, et en particulier, les "hurlements". Il intégra MCR après la séparation de son groupe, Pencey Prep. Frank Iero joua également avec Hybrid, Sector 12 et brièvement avec I Am Graveyard. En 2007, il crée un groupe nommé Leathermouth, dans lequel il office au "chant".

Il est ami avec un français : Hugo (guitariste chanteur du groupe The Storie of..) dans lequel il a participé pour un ou deux concerts.

Il a crée sa propre marque de vêtements, label musical et compagnie de publication appelée " Skeleton Crew ".

Il a un signe particulier: il est né le 31 octobre, le jour d'Halloween. C'est ce qui explique le tatouage sur ses doigts. (C'est aussi le jour de naissance de Adam Horovitz, membre des Beastie Boys, un de ses groupes préférés.)

Il joue dans des groupes depuis qu'il a onze ans et a appris comment nouer une cravate à l'école catholique. Il a été à l'Université Rutgers, mais a laissé tomber pour rejoindre My Chemical Romance.

Il admire Billie Joe Armstrong de Green Day, et a appris à jouer de la guitare en l'imitant. Parmi ses groupes préférés on trouve The Misfits, The Bouncing Souls, American Nightmare, Beastie Boys et Black Flag.

Il est très réputé pour se prendre totalement à la musique, quitte à se jeter par terre pendant des concerts. C'est le membre du groupe qui gesticule le plus sur scène et c'est donc le plus remarqué.

Frank Iero utilise une guitare Epiphone Elitist Les Paul Custom.

Frank est marié à Jamia Nestor depuis le 9 mars 2008.

Frank Iero possède 3 chiens.
